If you can't make a rehearsal or concert you need to let your
section leader and the
conductors know as soon as possible.
This is so that we can try and get your part covered or avoid pieces that heavily rely on your folder.
You are also repsonsible for making sure your folder gets to the practice or concert.

Why did I just get an email asking for my availability for a set of practices or a concert?
This is a common practice that the Exective, conductors and Manager uses to get an updated picture of who will be there.
Again, this is to adjust programs or rehearal pieces as needed.

Regular and punctual attendance at rehearsals is very important in order to assure that we are well prepared for performances.
Anything less than a full commitment is unfair to your section and to the band as a whole.
Notify the conductor or section leader if you must be absent for a rehearsal or performance as soon as possible.
If you are unable to be in attendance, please make sure your music is available for use at the rehearsal or performance that you miss.
Membership fees are collected each year. Dues are to be paid by cheque to the Membership Chairperson by Nov. 30th of each year.
Black golf shirts will be purchased by the wearer and worn at designated concerts with black bottoms, shoes and socks. At some concerts you will wear a red band jacket. You will have to give a deposit towards the jacket which will be returned to you when you have returned the jacket.
